The Resistant Learner Intensive was created to give you the information you need to better understand your kids' learning needs so that you can turn your resistant learners into eager learners.

Anyone who teaches kids with learning differences like dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and ADHD must start with understanding. When we can accept, appreciate, and accommodate our kids' learning, they will feel smart and successful.
RETHINK EDUCATION
Real learning is much more than quizzes, tests, grades, and requirements. Take some time to rethink the purpose of education so you can create a learning environment where your kids are truly learning and where your learning goals are tailored to the specific needs of your unique kids.
TEACH DIFFERENTLY
Kids who learn differently need to be taught differently. Taking your kids out of school is only the first step. The next step is embracing new ways of teaching so that your kids feel smart and successful.
EXTREME CASES
Most kids resist learning from time to time. However, sometimes kids develop extreme cases of resistance such as outright refusal to do school. Other topics that we will cover are how to handle a resistant learner in high school when the clock seems to be ticking and what can be done for kids who are extremely ‘behind’?

Who is Marianne?
Your teacher and guide through the Resistant Learner Intensive (RLI), Marianne Sunderland, is a veteran homeschooling mom of 8 kids, 7 with learning differences such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and ADHD. A certified Orton-Gillingham dyslexia tutor and author of 3 best-selling books on dyslexia and teaching outside-the-box kids, Marianne teaches from the unique perspective of both homeschool mom and dyslexia expert. Her blend of research-based information paired with her rubber-hits-the-road experience from teaching her own kids brings effective as well as practical insights for others on the same journey.

How much does the Resistant Learners Intensive cost?
The Resistant Learner Intensive (RLI) is $79 which includes all 4 teaching videos and the live group Q & A session. You have unlimited access to the videos and the Q & A recording.
Add a 30 minute 1:1 consult with Marianne for an additional $50 or a 1-hour private consult for an additional $100.
How do I know it's for me?
The Resistant Learner Intensive (RLI) is for any parent who wants to increase their child's love for learning by providing understanding and appropriate teaching methods along with learning goals that are meaningful to your unique family. While RLI is geared for homeschooling parents, there is also a lot of application for parents whose kids attend school.
When does the Intensive start?
You will receive access to the first teaching video of the Resistant Learner Intensive (RLI) on Monday, March 25th. The live group Q & A will be help on Saturday, March 30th from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm Pacific.
What if I can't make the live Q & A session?
The live group Q & A will be recorded and a link to the video emailed to you. You will be able to email your questions to have them answered during the live session and watch the answers in the replay.
How do the discounted 1:1 sessions work?
